Stop by the Home & Garden show in Portland this weekend (Sept. 29- Oct. 2) to see our Redi Pour booth! Our booth will be  staffed at all hours during the show with knowlegable representatives and engineers to answer any questions you may have.

Our set was created and manufactured in-house, then fork lifted onto one of our Miranda Industries trucks and hauled to the show. This was a first time process for us in transporting the booth- we hope to re-use this design in future shows. Check us out on YouTube to see the loading process.

We decided to fill the forms with spray foam in attempt to lighten the load to comply with fork lift weight restrictions. In doing this, the overall project came in at around 3,500 lbs. 

Redi-Pour in the Country

Redi-Pour is making its way into the country, traveling to Newberg, Oregon where local bed & breakfast owner, Christina Sommers, wished to create an entertainment patio for her operation. First she inquired the help of a Landscape Architect who was then referred to Redi-Pour by a local mason. Redi-Pour was able to move forward with the plans and now the project is featured in Deer Haven Farms Bed and Breakfast.
Deer Haven Farms is a peaceful country farm nestled in proximity to Oregon’s finest vineyards. This bed and breakfast uses only homegrown and fresh local ingredients, most coming straight from the farm!
This pour was a split level design with stairs from one layer to the next. Three large circular patterns are at each end with varying walls heights from one pad to the other.
The forms are created using Revit Architecture 2011 coupled with a custom designed structure software, called MWF, which was developed by our in house engineering team. Our engineering department then creates each form uniquely to provide maximum durability and strength for each project. The designs are then sent to our production department where each part is either welded or screwed together.  
Once each individual assembly has been constructed, they are loaded up and delivered to the site. Upon arrival, excavation will already be complete. The forms are set in place as designed and then poured with concrete.
Christina was very pleased with the result and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. The B&B had scheduled a major event for the month to showcase the farm. With any other wall system, having a completion date before her event would not have been possible. Redi-Pour came in on time with a product that will last generations and create many memories, much like Deer Haven Farms. 

A Perfectly Engineered Assembly

When it comes to curb appeal, this house has it all. Landscape Architect Brian Bainnson used Redi Pour to help design an oasis of retaining walls which doubled as a means for water retention on a steep slope in front of one of Miranda Homes’ newly constructed houses in Lake Oswego. In this design, installing the Redi-Pour walls gives our clients a more adequate use of their lot and also gives them a grand entrance to their house.
The amount of property that was available for this particular project was extremely limited. This is a common problem on construction sites that we are able to avoid by manufacturing our product off site in our controlled shop environment, then we go on to schedule accordingly between the installers and masons.
When the Redi-Pour forms arrived on site, there were no extra parts or wasted materials. Our engineering team was so precise in developing these forms that, once installed, they met Brian Bainnson’s exact specifications. Our time frame was also very impressive. What would normally take 1-2 months of labor was reduced down to 1-2 weeks!
The walls created for this project were engineered with a very organic, curved pattern. As you can see from the pictures, there are multiple curves and a few sharp angles. This design would be extremely difficult with any other wall system because you would have to have blocks custom cut for each bend. It would also have been virtually impossible to maintain an actual “retaining-wall” without the proper footings that Redi-Pour provides.
